Motorcycle Repair: twisted steering

Question
I have an old Kawasaki en500 that fell over when parked. It fell on the left side and now the handlebars point to the left when the front wheel is straight. I don't know what exactly has moved, ie, the wheel, the handlebars or the forks, and so would like to know how to straighten things back out. Thank You.

Hello Mike,

Don't worry, it's easy... just follow instructions in the order I mention.

1)Lift and support the front of the bike with a jack, and remove the front wheel.
2)Loosen front fender screws.
3)Loosen steering stem head bolt (picture 1).
4)Loosen lower fork clamp bolts (picture 2).
(where "loosen", do NOT remove)
5)Tighten lower fork clamp bolts (29N/m, 3Kg/m, 22ft/lb).
6)Tighten fender screws and install and tighten front wheel.
7)Tighten steering stem head bolt (44N/m, 4,5Kg/m, 33ft/lb).

Check if everything is O.K. and especially, if the handlebar is parallel to the upper fork clamp.
If no part of the steering/front fork is damaged, the alignment should be "reset" and straight.
If it isn't, get back to me for further troubleshooting.

Best Regards,
Lazaros.
