Question
how do i set the timing crank/cam

Answer

Hi Clint,

Hondas use the "T" mark on the flywheel to mark top dead center
which means the piston is at the very top of the bore.

The camshaft gear has an "O" shaped mark that goes straight
up inline with the center of the cylinder head.

With the "T" aligned and the cam gear mark straight upward
the valve timing is correct and the chain can be connected
or installed.

It should be turned gently by hand to verify the marks
are aligned closely before running the engine.

With everything properly in place the engine should rotate
without anything stopping it from turning.

Let me know if you are unsure of this process or need more info.
