Motorcycle Repair: 07 ZZR 600 RPMs suck and whistles, sheet metal screw, kawasaki zzr 600

Question
I decided to clean and sync my carbs on my 07 kawasaki zzr 600 as it was running rough...I took them out, took out what I believe to be the main jet and the pilot but they looked clean...I don't believe I messed with the mixture screw because I couldn't get it out...I put them back in and sync'd them...After, My exhaust was smoking(blue)the bike makes a whistling noise...And If I give it gas it will get stuck at that rpm for a while then slowly come back down...I checked the throttle snap and also made sure it was moving freely in the carbs and all of that is working, diaphrams also move up and down as expected...I changed to fresh gas and that didn't have seafoam, I think it stopped the smoking...The other problems still persist.

Answer
Brittany, Check two things first before giving up. The valves may be to tight and need new shims to get the proper clearace. The other is the mixture screws are plugged from the factory to from adjusting them. If they havent been removed they will look like an aluminum plug or a brass plug over the head of the screw. You have to carefully drill a 1/8 hole through them and not hit the brass screw underneath then a sheet metal screw can be threaded into the hole and two screw drivers are used to pull the plug out. Then the screws can be adjusted. Dont put the plugs back in. See if this helps the lean running condition.
