Motorcycle Repair: IGNITION KEY WAS LOST IN A FIRE, bolts, locks

Question
I LOST MY IGNITION KEY IN A HOUSE FIRE AND WAS ATTEMPTING TO GET OFF  IGNITION SWITCH , TO HAVE A NEW KEY MADE FOR IT. WHEN I WAS ATTEMPTING THAT I APPEARS THAT MY 1995 1100 ACE HAS A REVERSE SCREW TO REMOVE THE IGNITION HOUSING AND WAS ASKING DOES THE PIPES HAVE TO BE REMOVED TO REMOVE THE SWITCH .

Answer
Normally to get a key made you just need the number off the lock barrel of any of the locks. Normally the locks are attached with security bolts.  You should be able to get to the number without having to remove the barrel.  Not sure about your config but your dealer should be able to help.
Good luck, Jan
