Motorcycle Repair: NO SPARK!!, stator coils, yamaha 250

hi gary,

I have a 2003 yamaha 250 bear tracker that wont throw a spark. I have replaced the stator, pick up, cdi, rectifier, coil, and spark plug. I have checked all connections and looked for broken wires. everything looks fine. the engine turns over fine but there is no spark. Also the neutral light will not turn off even when put into gear. Only after you turn off the key will it go out. I have no other ideas to what else i could do to make this thing spark. Please help!!

Roy, You may have two different problems. The neutral light may just be the neutral saftey switch down on the lower left side,part# 3GB-82540-01-00 cost is about $28.00 The no spark problem could even be that the flywheel has lost magnatism and wont generate a magnetic field around the stator coils.
