For any single cylinder motorcycle, put the piston all the way up so the T mark is showing on the crankshaft rotor.  Then rotate the camshaft so the cam lobes are both downwards in an upside down V shape  (/  \). Generally there are either scribed lines on the cams sprocket that are supposed to be parallel with the cylinder head surface or sometimes a single punch mark that goes straight up at 12 o'clock position. From the illustration above, it looks like the cam sprocket holder and sprocket bolts are going to line up vertically at 12 and 6 o'clock with the piston at TDC.
