Motorcycle Repair: clutch, clutch lever, clutch

QUESTION: My clutch will not disengage. Was riding about 20 mi. went to pull in clutch lever, and it would not move. I rode back shifting working the clutch over thirty times and still would not disengage. I'm on vacation in Florida.

ANSWER: how about a year and model.

There are a couple of things that can be wrong. You need to remove the primary cover and check the clutch spring to see if its broken. If its ok then you neec to pull the tranny clutch cover, on the right side of the bike, and check the throwout bearing.
