Motorcycle Repair: harley oil leak, crank case breather, classic stock

QUESTION: I have a 2001 ultra classic,stock motor,22,000miles,have owned for 2 years and runs excellent,only issue i have is after riding it will let out 2 to 3 drops of oil ,no idea where coming from and does not do it all the time,,can drive it all day and park it and no oil will leak at all for a week and then i drive it for 10 minutes and when i park it i will see a couple of drops on the floor later,,i would say i see drops 50% of the time and max of 3 drops,seal to transmission was replaced last yr because i though was coming from there,have heard possible cause could be crank case breather ???????any thoughts?

ANSWER: You will have to give me a general idea of where the oil in on the floor compared to the bike. Left side, right side, foward rear of motor ECT

QUESTION: the drip when i see it is from the bottom of the primary at the drain plug area but this is not where it originates,,,,,i do not know where it originates,,,i cannot follow any path because unless u ride it it does not leak at all and after u ride it and try to find a path its impossible due to wind just scatters it,all areas on top and sides  of motor are clean and dry right down to bottom.

From that area there are three possible places that you can have a leak. Main seal for the tranny, mainshaft seal, the seal between high gear and the mainshaft and the inner primary seal where the tranny goes through the inner primary.
