Motorcycle Repair: 2010 Kawasaki Ninja 250, kawasaki ninja 250, fuel valve

Question
ok just purchased a use 2010 Kawasaki Ninja 250R. The day i picked it up when i test rode it it started up fine and I was able to ride it just fine no hesitation. I loaded it up into my truck bed and drove the truck home. When i took the bike off the truck i noticed 2 hoses hanging there at the bottom. After much online research it seems they are normal to be there. One looks like it belongs the other 1 for some reason just seems it should be connected to something. For example it seems that the hose has a flared end as if it was connected to a valve or something. The hose in question is the hose that connects to the middle pin/valve on the left side of the fuel thank. There are 3 spots with 3 hoses the hose into he middle is confusing me. However not the bike wont start at all after taking it off the truck. I have the choke fully on and it turns on for about 2-3 seconds and dies. However, it never goes passed about 500 RPM idles real bad between 500-800 RPM never goes over 1000rpm. IF i take choke off start runs but bike never even starts. Any ideas what might have happened?

Answer
Mani, Kawasaki had some units out that were equipped with a California fuel vapor recovery system and had extra hoses on it. There are a lot of units with a drain hose on the bottom of each carb to aid in flooding. The fuel valve on the tank may have on/res/pri the on or res position will only work with the bike running as its turned on by a vaccum hose which could have come off the intake or carb and the back of the fuel valve. You may have to take the tank off and track down any hose and fitting missing or passage or port not connected to a hose.
