Land Rover Repair: rangerover l322 td6 transfer box neutral, transfer case, rangerover

i have a 2003 rangerover it was driving fine until i engaged the low range .. i tried to flick it into high again but its showing transfer box neutral on the display with a flashing yellow light & i have lost all drive any ideas?

The transfer case is shifted electrically.  It's possible the box is mechanically stuck, or the shift motor has failed.  So it's in neutral now and you are stuck. You could remove the shifter motor and manually wind the lever to get to high range but proper repair probably involves either a repair to the case, the motor, or both.  To fix it permanently you need a shop with the LR diag system to send activation signals to the motor so you can see what happens and determine if the trouble is in the switching motor, the wires, or the box itself
