Motorcycle Repair: Keihin 745B Carb, honda cb400t, float bowls

Question
HI,

Thank you for your previous answer.  I'm not knowledgeable by any means on these parts.  Could you tell me where the float bowls and carb tops are located?  Is is it possible to send move than one image?

Thank you in advance for your help.

P.S.  I meant to ask in my first question if you could give an idea of sale value on this carb.

Answer
Tina,

Here is an exploded view of one of these carburetors.

If the carburetor was brand new, it might be worth $150.

As one side of a pair of carburetor, in used condition, it may be only worth $30-50, again depending on the condition of the internal parts. Just the new packing kit of gaskets, o-rings, etc costs about $40, for someone to order from Honda, so they could start the renewal process. A new accelerator pump is another $60, so you can see that it becomes pretty expensive to rebuild a used carburetor. I think you will find them on Ebay, regularly, under listings for Honda CB400T, CB450T, CM400, etc.
