Motorcycle Repair: electrical problem 1992 suzuki intruder 800, suzuki intruder 800, fuse box

well im a bonehead and accidently hooked the batt. up backwards..now have no power..turn the switch on and nothing...i have checked all the fuses in the fuse box, all are good...any idea on what i might have fried?

Im not sure but it still sounds like a fuse or fusable link is burnt out.The positive cable usually has an extra small wire at the batt terminal that powers all the bikes wiring harness.If you have a small multi meter check for power thru that wire to the fuses also the battery may even be discharged as a result of the dead short it experienced. Be sure the battery is fully charged and check all the connections it may blow a fuse but that is to save the system.
