Motorcycle Repair: cbx1000, starter solenoid, solonoid

My bike wont turn over just clicks. new battery and still just clicks I can push start only. Can it be the solonoid? do they fail? or what else? THX

The starter solenoid are now a common failure item, so I would suspect the solenoid first.  There are aftermarket ones available which are inexpensive, you may have to switch the electrical connector from the CBX one to make the job complete.  Good luck,  Jan
