Motorcycle Repair: rm 125, bill silver, metal flakes

i have an 2001 rm 125 and i was riding and then suddenly it started to bog down and it will start for a few seconds but then it shuts off when i kick start it it makes an odd clacking noise if u have any ideas let me know asap please  sincerely

Blake, not my brand or motorcycle type.... but it sounds like it seized to me!

Pull the spark plug and look for signs of metal flakes. Pull the exhaust pipe and check the piston through the exhaust port. If things look bad, pull the head and look down the cylinder for signs of damage.

There are other possibilities, of course, but start with simple things first..
