Motorcycle Repair: CB72 NOS headlamp rings, screw hole, vjmc

Hey Bill!!  I've recently acquired 4 NOS chrome headlamp rings for CB72.  On the packaging it reads CB724811  2A -S.  These have only one screw hole.  I was told years ago that these were stock on early CB72s and are now hard to find.  Do you have any info on these pieces?  I'd like to get them to someone who can use them...  Cheers!  jeff davis

Hi, Jeff...  Wow, that is a cool find. 33101-268-010 is the NPS part number. The S is probably for stainless steel. They were used on the 1961 250cc Hawks ONLY, from CB72-10367 to CB72 10964!
