can i run my bike on unleaded fuel or continue to use the additives,regards mick.

Hi Mick,

Honda has not needed leaded fuel since
about 1970 and for sure since 1977.
The bikes have had hardened
valve seats since then so the only
thing to concern yourself with is the
octane rating of the fuel.

The Honda Bol d'Or was built to
be a high performance bike at the time
so the engine can most certainly run okay
on unleaded fuel. The octane number
would indicate that a mid-grade to premium
fuel might be best to prevent any engine
pinging or detonation which can damage the
pistons etc.
So throw away the additives and enjoy your ride!
