Motorcycle Repair: raking, fork tubes, protractor

I have a 1989 FLHP I am wanting to rake, and order a set of fork tubes. Any idea on what size the tubes are before I order? Can I just use a set of 41mm stretched forks or are they not for this style of bike?

What you need to do is measure from the ground to the center of the axle. Next, take a protractor and use it to see the rake you are adding. Now measure to where the axle would be with the rake and that will tell you how much more you will need to add to the fork tubes.
