Motorcycle Repair: chaange of frame leith, frame jig, chaange

hello mike.i have a question, and i hope you can help me with
mi thout. i have a sporster. i want to grow 5 inch. to its
length, is it safe to do that, is there any risk.
and what welding should i yous.i apresheate the time. you take
on reading mi leter.thaks

You can lengthen the frame, but you need to know what you are doing. You cant just cut and then start welding. You really need a frame jig to do it correctly. Check around for somebody that can do the work and has a frame jig
