Motorcycle Repair: starter removal, clutch basket, starter removal

Question
I have a 04 fatboy how do I remove the starter,and do I have to remove the oil tank to get the starter out ?

Answer
You have to remove the primary cover, morot sprocket, clutch basket and then the jackshaft. Once you have that out go tot he other side and prmove the bolts holding the starter and it will slide out. Its a tight fit, but you dont have to remove the oil tank
