Motorcycle Repair: 1975 honda cb360t, partslist, bill silver

I am replacing the cam chain guide .What holds the bottom of the guide in place.It hangs from the top with a pin through the guide.I am wondering if I am missing a part or if something is broken off in the motor block

It looks like it sits in a recessed well in the lower engine case, based on the shape of it.
