Question
What are the risks (if any) of riding a motorcycle whose front seals have leaked?  Other than a rougher ride, is there any risk for continuing to ride when you think there is no more cushioning going on?   I'm trying to decide if at least another $180 is worth it in the short and long run.  Thanks.

Kirk, would you drive your car around with bad shocks? In this case, the lack of oil in the forks will begin to cause wear of the fork bushings and the inside of the fork cases, which is not repairable. The lack of damping will eventually cause wheel hop, probably when you want the tire to stay in contact with the road.

Not a good idea to neglect this service...
