Motorcycle Repair: oil routing, oil tank, problum

I have a 1981FLT HD I am having a problum with the oil lines. How do the oil lines run from the oil tank. Bike does have x-ternel oil filter and also an oil cooler

Looking at the oil tank you should have 3 fittings. The lowest one is the feed line that goes to the oil pump. Next highest is the vent from th motor and the highest is the return line. the return line goes from the motor, to the filter to the oil cooler and then to the tank
