Motorcycle Repair: pushrod tube removal, pushrod, tube slide

how do u remove pushrod tube on 1976 electra glide 1200cc

Answer
remove the clip on the tube. Slide the tub together. Now rotate the motor so the pushrod you are working on is in the down position. Now you will have to loosen the locknut ont he pushrod and turn the pushrod so it is shorter and take it out with the tube
