Motorcycle Repair: suzuki front wobble/ sway, suzuki gs 650, paint flakes

Question
we have an 82 suzuki gs 650 that has been laid down. when driving straight the bike randomly pulls left and right. at first we thought that the front tire being low caused it but after filling it up it did the same thing. if the forks were bent or the front bearing bad cause it?? this one is really stumping me.

Answer
Front bearings and or a bent wheel should be fairly easy to see so I'm sure you looked at that.  Check the triple tree bearings for excessive play, and make sure the headstock is straight.  look for telltale paint flakes where things are bent.  Also make sure you have the right fork oil, and the correct amount, and that your brake discs are true.  Don't have many other ideas, sorry.  Good luck,  Jan
