Motorcycle Repair: 2006 ATV, delivery problem, needing attention

I can start my atv and it will stay started for 3 or 4 minutes then dies. It wont start after that, but I can go back out in a couple of days and it will fire right up, but then again dies. Can u please tell me what is wrong

Hey Jeff,

Its most likely a fuel delivery problem. If it were me, then I would take a look at the fuel petcock (Fuel on/off switch). It might need to be rebuilt.
Also the carbs might need to be cleaned too.
What you could do, since it does run for 3 or 4 mins, is drain the gas and fill it up with fresh gas. Then add a half a bottle of 'Sea Foam' fuel treatment. Start it up and see if it helps. If it doesn't then I would look at the petcock and possibly the carbs needing attention.
