Motorcycle Repair: dead 85 suzuki madura 700, suzuki madura, float bowls

My bike was running will,Then it quit,I pulled over,Gas was running out from under the tank,I took the tank off,There are two 1/4 inch rubber tubes that look like breathers,When I tryed to start the bike back up gas pumped out of the 1/4 tube,And the bike ran like crap,Help any ideas

Yes those do sound like breather tubes coming from the carbs. If fuel was coming out of them, then your float bowls are filling up with too much fuel. My guess is that the floats are stuck open.
I would pull the carbs and take the float bowls off to inspect why they might be sticking. Since you have the carbs off, you might as well give the carbs a good soak and cleaning too.
