Motorcycle Repair: 2006 Harley Davidson touring bike., wheel alignment, porta power

Question
We bought a bike and the previous owners lied to us.The neck and frame were pushed slightly to the left.Enough to make a difference. We stripped the bike down to the frame, built a table out of angle iron, secured the frame to this and used a porta power to straighten the frame. We had to push it to the right. This was done several times. We used string and a level to make sure it was straight. We just put the forks on and the rims, which we also measured with a chalking string and level. Everything indicates the frame is straight.Could you please tell me if there are any measurement specs to go by to straighten a 2006 Harley touring bike frame? If so could you please help us as we want to know for sure the frame is straight. We don't want to buy a used frame or a new one because of expense. The frame wasn't bent that bad but just enough to put the wheel alignment out.The frame looks good but we want to be sure.I would appreciate any help you could give us.Thank You, Brenda.

Answer
In the old days, Harley used to put the measurements in their service manuals, but they dont do it any more. You would either have to check with a frame shop who specialize in straighting frames or check with harley itself to get that info.
Good luck and happy riding
