Motorcycle Repair: Valkyrie Carbs, speed jets, reputable repair shop

Question
I have a Valkyrie standard with to much garage time.  The bike will start and idle with full choke and mid to top end seems OK.  So, any tips on cleaning low/high speed jets and needles of the F6C 1520?

Answer
Doug,

You are going to have to remove the carbs, disassemble them one at a time and thoroughly clean them with carb cleaner and compressed air, removing each jet, cleaning it ,and the corresponding passage way...Your local honda dealer should have an exploded view of the carbs for you or may be willing to copy a few pages out of their service manual for you for a small fee.  Please make sure that you are comfortable with carb disassembly or you will give yourself a big headache...if in doubt , let the dealer or reputable repair shop handle the task

Good luck
