QUESTION: They're not stock. They came with the kit...they're adjustable. Jim's tappets, etc.......

Answer
Put the lifter at the bottom of its travel for the pushrod that you selected to adjust first then adjust the pushrod out until the pushrod is long enough to just fill the area up, no up and down movement but you should be able to turn it by hand. this would be the finger tight position. Now leghten the pushrod another 3 1/2 turns the pushrod may not turn at this length but wait about 15 minutes for the lifter to bleed down then it should turn with slight resistance, also during this bleed down time do not turn over the motor. When the first pushrod is able to turn after the lifter bleed down phase you are now ready to move to and repete this procedure for the other 3 pushrods.
