Motorcycle Repair: 2002 wide glide charging system, stator tester, harley manual

I have read what you have said on charging system. On this same bike. I need to know how can I check the stator.
I have the same issues these other guys did. New battery with low volts at battery and tested while running. showing system is not charging. great if its the voltage regulator that looks simple.  the stator - that looks like a drop off at HD.

The easiest way to test a stator is with a stator tester but I'm betting that you don't have one as there quite expensive and usually only shops have them but the harley manual for your bike has a section in it that tells you how to test you stator using an amp meter.
