Motorcycle Repair: CB 900 fuel leak, cb 900, fuel leak

CB 900 Honda has fuel leaking and will fill air cleaner
year ago dealer told me to plug vac shut off to make an other fix.  could this be my fuel leak trouble. How does it work

Answer
You need to clean the fuel tap and vacuum shut off.  These things are put in place to stop engine damage due to fuel filling cylinders etc. and subsequently bending conrods because of hydraulic locking.  So make sure the fuel tap works properly.  If it does not work, then at minimum you need to replace the fuel tap.  Good luck,  Jan
