Motorcycle Repair: honda cb125 electrical problem, honda cb125, adjustment screw

Question
I have a 1975 cb125 that I have been working on and have running pretty well. The carb has been cleaned and seems to do well when running at full speed. The problem I have is that I can't seem to get the idle speed right. It also wants to seem to die when I turn on the lights. I have a pretty new battery and have replaced the points and condenser. Runs great besides the idle problem and turning the lights on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Answer
The idle circuit is the most important and difficult part of the car to get right.  Ensure all of the small air ways are clean, and check the idle air adjustment screw.  Normally it's about 1-1/2 turn out from closed, but the starting value is in the manual.  Good luck,
