Motorcycle Repair: 2008 kawasaki zx10 ticking, 2008 kawasaki zx10, brand new bike

Question
I just bought a brand new 0 miles o8 kawasaki zx10, with 35 miles and a 3 sheets to the wind decision layed it down in a corner.  The hit did not seem to hard i slid down at about 45 mph and it slid and hit the curb on its left side. I am now hearing a ticking sound at idle almost like an exhaust leak that goes away at throttle.  The oil light appears to remain blinking and the left side header pipe has a dent from the drop.  I believe as it slid the rpm were high as the tire lost grip but i let go of the bike immediately so it couldnt have been too long. I cannot see or hear where there is a possible exhaust leak so I am pretty stumped at the problem.  This is my first BRAND NEW bike so I am unfamiliar with how delicate they are when new.  As I said the drop did not seem that hard but it ticks at idle and dissappears with trottle.  If you have any suggestions I would appreaciate it, Thanks

Trevor

Answer
First this bike being new I would take it to the dealer and see if they can help under warranty, other than that maybe insurance can cover the dealers diagnosis.... without looking at it and hearing this noise...??? Check out the  options I presented to you.... Maybe a fuel pump issue causing the ticking ? Where is the noise emanating from, ecactly... have you tracked this down ?
