QUESTION: 2000 electra glide standard

Answer
First you have to jack up the bike so there is no pressure on the forks. Since you have removed the wheel and fender, remove the drain for the fork oil located on the side if the forks. Under the frok tube there is a metric allen bolt. Remove it and the lower let will slide off. You may have to jack it up and down until you get it off. Once you have it off, you can install the new ones. Remember to install the new seals. Slide the lower on and install the bolt. Once you have them together you have to install the for oil. There are two ways to do this. One is remove the outer and inner fairing so you can get to the fork caps  and remove them and fill. The other way is to connect a vaccumn pump to the fill point for the air at the front forks and suck up the fork oil through the drain.
Good luck and happy riding
