Motorcycle Repair: 1978 cx500, cx500, brake hose

front brakes not working. bled out system. does not seem to be any air. caliper flexing when pulling the lever i clamped off brake hose master lever gets very hard and holds pressure. pulled apart caliper cleaned it up and reassembled. bled again. brakes have no pressure. please help.

Nycol,this one is a little strange.  If the master cylinder is working, the problem has to be in the slave cylinder.  The movement in the caliper indicates the system is building pressure so unless it's leaking the pressure externally, it should be working. I'm betting the system is still not fully bled out and there's still some air in the system.
