Motorcycle Repair: bleeding a hydrolic clutch, suzuki intruder vs800, clutch master cylinder

I have a 1999 suzuki intruder VS800. After it was garaged for four months the clutch handle wont engage the clutch. Someone said to bleed the hydrolic clutch,but how do I do it myself???

The bike is now 10 years old and may need the clutch master cylinder rebuilt with a repair kit. You will need some special snap ring pliers for that, in most cases.

Make sure that the fluid is clean and clear. There are some bleed ports in the base of the master cylinder that need to be open. If you have old fluid and there are chunks of stuff floating around inside then it really needs an overhaul of the fluid system.
