Motorcycle Repair: 85 ELECTRA GLIDE F/FENDER REMOVAL, rear fender, turn signals

I've written to you before and you were right on with you suggestions. And I still THANK YOU FOR IT.

Question(s) Please

Mike I need to take all the body parts off my 1985 H-D Electra Glide.

I never took off the front fender or the back fender.
Everything else I'm O.K. with.

Mike what suggestions and things to watch out for when taking the REAR & FRONT FENDER OFF.

Need to have the bike painted.

To take the front fender off you will have to remove the front tire and caliber. Then just remove the bolts for the fender and slide the fender out.
For the rear fender, remove the rear wheel and then remove the bolts for the fender. Loosen the bolts for the struts so they will spread apart, and remove the fender. You will need to unplug the wiring for the turn signals and rear tail light.
