Ive recently returned from a tour in Iraq and purchased a 1990 Electra Glide Sport. It had one owner before and the gentlemen never rode it. It has only 23K miles on it. I have not done anything mechanically to it except put on some samson straight pipe fishtails. It runs really hot sometimes and skips when idling. The oil is always changed and leaks very little. I was always told to put 93 octane in harleys in order to help them run better. Could the high octane fuel be whats making it run hot? Any advantages or disadvantages. And whats a ballpark figure to have all the seals replaced? Thank you for your time.

Answer
running hot can be caused by two things. One is running the bike to lean and the other is the timing to far retarted. Pull your plugs and if they are white in color then you are to lean and need to rejett. Also check the timing.
As to replacing the seals, I am not able to give you a price. Prices are different all over the country as well as shop to shop, so it would be tough for me to tell you how muchy somthing costs
Good luck and happy riding
