hey rich its ramiro again i have another problem with my 1982 Honda 250r well you were right my pip was plugged i took the silencer off and it runs i was riding it up and down my street then i was in the gear and i was gonna slow down.......when i was slowing down the ATC locked up and i stop.when i tried to kick start it.It was hard to kick and the only way i can start it is if my brother pushes me and i put it in first gear.........I'm not sure whats wrong with it did i blow the top end or are the gears messed up?????? help me

well by what i mean on(locked up)is that it was as if i was slamming on my back drakes... hope you under stand what i mean

Ramiro, it's not a good idea to run any engine without the exhaust. It can drastically change the air fuel ratio and can lean it out to the point it can score the cylinder or worse.  If you look inside the exhaust port, you can see the piston skirt.  If there are black streaks or the piston surface doesn't look smooth, you've probably scored the piston.
