Motorcycle Repair: remove fairing from flhtcu, roadking, mike thanks

QUESTION: Hi,
red about your issue turning an electra into a roadking.
I'm in the same situation. MIne is a -96 y.m.
How did you solv it, did you get wires from road king or did you start removing from flhtcu wires?

ANSWER: If it were me I would get a roadking wiring harness. It would be less of a problem then tracing the wires and rerouting them

thanks!! But are you shure that the connections under the seat will fit? Do you sell flhr wiring harness?

Answer
When you get a wiring harness it wil be the main harness running from the front of the bike to the rear. Basically you would be rewiring the whole bike. You should be able to get one at about any aftermarket parts companies. You would also need to get a service manual so you can follow where to install the wires
