Motorcycle Repair: DOT4 for a 1973 CB350G, brake fluid, master cylinder

I'd prefer to use DOT4 brake fluid in this bike. The master cylinder has been dry for three years and the brake lines are new. Is there anything I should do to remove residue, or will DOT4 not work with this system? Also, I'm looking for reproduction tank and sidecover badges. Any suggestions?

There's not much difference between those two fluids.  You don't have to flush it or anything.  By the time you have pumped enough through to bleed the system it will work.

You have to go to the recycling shops.  I'd recommend cycle-recycle part 2 in Indy.  Rob usually has a pretty good selection of used stuff.
