Motorcycle Repair: nothing with key on?, vt500, fuses

I have a 84 VT500 when you turn the key on, nothing, (no lights, horn starting,  nothing)  fuses ok  do you have a wiring diagram for the ignition switch to check continuity?

Jeff, I'll have to see if my Shadow manual has a diagram.  I'm not sure how to send it to you.  It doesn't look like I can attach a file to these responses.   I'd bet the ignition switch is just worn or has some oxidation on the contacts.  Try turning it on and off a few times and see if it doesn't polish up and start working.
