Motorcycle Repair: clutch adjustment (Heritage Softail Springer), clutch adjustment, clutch lever

I have a 2000 flsts, I need to adjust my clutch. I have my cover off and am looking at an 11/16 nut and an allen head coming out of the middle of the nut. Could you tell me the correct way to make my adjustment here.

Answer
First, go to the cable and loosen it, so you have play in the clutch lever. Now, loosen the locknut. Turnt he allen bolt outward a little and then inward, just until it bottoms out, then back out about 1/8 of a turn. Now go to the cable and adjust it so you have about 1/8 inch play int he clutch lever.
