Motorcycle Repair: 78 Hondamatic 400, hondamatic 400, ebay

Hello,

My question has to do with Parts that i found on ebay for a 1983 hondamatic.  I have a 78 hondamatic and I want to know if the Exauhst, Rear Shocks, Levers, Throttle and other parts off of an 83 would fit my 78.

I think everything you mention here will fit.  You may have to change out a few more parts to make them fit like the handlebars from the 83 but I think they will work.  I've never tried it and I'd spend some time on honda parts direct's website comparing part numbers before I'd invest in buying it.
