QuestionQUESTION: I am trying to install an ultima complet harness in my 75 ironhead. I got a little lost with the ignition, starter, and charging wiring. Any components that I will no longer need? A good diagram would help. The wiring is a little different.

ANSWER: If you get a service manual for your bike you will find a wiring diagram. Sorry, but I dont have any to send and I cant send pics through here. there shouldnt be anything that is no longer needed

QUESTION: I have the wiring diagram for the stock wiring, but there are some wires in the new harness that I'm not too sure where they go. Have you seen or used one of these harnesses? It has a 12 GA wire labeled for the starter. Not sure where it would go. Also a 12 GA black wire labeled battery, would it go to the battery or to the bat termina on the regulator? There are more also, but these are my two concerns at the moment. Thanks for any input you may have.

AnswerI have never used of of harnesses you are talking about so it tough for me to comment on it. Your best bet would be to contact the company that made it. You dont want to take a chance on burning up somthing by connecting it wrong.
