Motorcycle Repair: 1986 honda TRX 70 ATV, honda trx 70, cam gear

I just put new piston and rings in my kids ATV but the only experience I have with engine rebuilding has been with 2-stroke and I was wondering how to set the timing on this little 4-stroker. There is an arrow on the flywheel and a "O" stamped on the cam gear, hope you can help me. Thanks!

Sorry Keith, we've lost our Internet access when the storm went through central IL and the tower was struck by lightning.  My experience is on pre-82 Honda so I can't give you specific instructions on your ATV.  However in general, all Honda are about the same.  There's a indicator onteh gam gear that get's ligned up with some reference point on tehhead.  In your case, you have to put the crank on top dead center which is marked with a "T" on the flywheel.  The "O" on the cam gear goes between the two tabs under the cam cover.
