Buick/Olds: Dashboard rattles above glove box., small screws, exact procedures

Question
Bought a 2000 LeSabre w/37,000 miles on it last week.
the dash board constantly rattles on passenger side. I removed the glove box and drove around and the noise was still there. If I hit the pass. airbag area of the dash, It makes the same noise. I think it's the airbag and I'd like to know how to get to it. Can you help?
Thank You!

Answer
Sorry. Look for 2-3 small screws around the lower edge of the pass. side dash. Remove them, and the panel should lift off. As I suspected, the car has been wrecked, and most likely has no air bag on the passenger side. The replacement air bag costs circa $600.00, so most small body shops ( and some big ones) DO NOT replace them. They simply throw the wire harness, and mounting bracket into the compartment, close it up, and think no one will be the wiser.
See if this helps. If not get back to me, I'll research exact procedures.
