Motorcycle Repair: 1980 FLT TOURGLIDE PRIMARY, flt tourglide, clutch

I replaced primary chain,dampners,sprockets,clutch hub and housing 2yrs ago,everything was good now it vibrates,I was told it was in the primary,I pulled the the cover off hoping something obvious was loose but not.How can you tell if the chain is bad? Seems to have alot of back and forth movement or sideways movement?

If your chain is only two year old, it is not likely it bad. Go for a ride and when the bike starts to vibrate, pull in the clutch and coast and see if it still vibrates. Do the same thing, but shut the motor off and coast, does it still vibrate?
