Motorcycle Repair: Transmission leak, white lithium grease, quad ring

Question
I just replaced all the gaskets and seals on my 93Wideglide.  Almost instantly the trany started to leak when it was on its kickstand.  I rode it a little and it seemed to get worse.  I took the primary off tonight and it looks like the leak is coming from either the quad ring or the seal in front of it.  My question to you is there something special you are supposed to do when you install these two seals to insure that you don't have a leak?  The old quad ring looked like it had been driven in there.  I didn't drive it back in  I just used a little white lithium grease and installed it. Also I used James gaskets got any experience with these?  Thanks in adavance

Answer
James gaskets are all I use in in my shop. If your bike is leaking on the kickstand then it either the main seal, behind the sprocket or the small seal inside 5th gear. I would go ahead and replace them again. Be careful you get them in straight and dont roll the rubber in the seal over and that it is sealing.
Good luck and happy riding
