Motorcycle Repair: Vance & Hines Straightshot Slipons, harley dyna, dyna jet

I am installing a set of Vance & Hines Straightshot Slipons on my 2001 Harley Dyna Superglide FXD at a Harley dealership. Should I also have them install a high flow air filter and re-jet the carburetor? Vance & Hines tech people say I should, the Harley dealership says it isn't necessary.

If you change to a highflow pipes you make the bike run a little leaner. Adding a highflow air filter will make it even leaner. If it were me I would add the highflow air filter and add a Dyna-jet kit to the carb to bring it back to where it should be
